I highly doubt ANet will do something for exploiting a bug in polymock. They didn't do anything to the people exploiting the great destroyer when it was bugged.

I don't think this really matters. Unless you have a really bad connection, Polymock is quite easy. I can defeat Hoff (the hardest guy) easily with just the pieces obtained from doing the Polymock quests.

don't even need to do that.
cast it once, cast it again when it recharges, your opponent starts bleeding...
keep casting until they bleed to death...then you are forced to choose a piece and the next round starts

If you suck at Polymock like me you aren't still granted a surefire way to win. If your opponent beats you always first, you can get a draw using Lacerate, but you still need to beat the last piece on your own.
Damn Blarp and his elementals! RAARGH!

Well, yes. To make this really work you have to get "ahead" oponent, which means that your first piece must bring down their first AND get their seccond to <90%
Or that your first two pieces must suceed in beating their 1st and 2nd and getting third to <90%
Both situations mean that you are likely to win anyway.

Dunno...maybe I don't have the right mindset for it but I can't win even when using this trick. Doesn't bother me...I don't get much out of it.

I have a Rit and tried spirits when I first tried Polymock but upon choosing my next piece they disappear so I don't see how a ranger spirit would be any different.
However I have heard if you cast an Ele ward just before starting the round it will be on you at least for a few seconds at the start which may help.
It seems to me this game has a severe problem any way so anything that can help is a good thing. I mean the fact that people are paying 50-100k for single Polymock piece just to beat it because they can't otherwise is a big fat sign that there is a major problem with it.

Its because Lacerate has an effect when it gets destroyed.

I think the biggest problem with Blarp is his casting speed; I open up the round with the biggest hit first then the two interrupts and concentration and in between those four casts I end up at half health. He is so fast I don't even see what he hits me with and he spams his low hit one twice for everyone I fire off, it is like rapid fire can't even dodge it. He must have between 0-1 second recast times and instant recharge times on most of his skills which is just stupid.
I have not even got his first piece past half way down in the first round before dying. Because of this guy alone Anet has no business banning anyone who finds a way to cheat this Polymock game it deserves to be cheated.

Polymock is one of those things that must have seemed like a real good idea at the time.

Yup. Another example of ANet promising one thing and delivering another.
And before people wonder -- I beat the Polymock quests, without the epxloit mentioned here. Yes, it can be beat; no, it isn't a fun game.
It all goes back to putting FPS gamers in charge on balancing and designign what is advertised as an RPG -- the focus is on action and reaction, not on critical thought and strategy.
Another reason to avoid GW2.

Yep, Polymock is very frustrating.
And, to make it worse, once you accomplish the goal of killing more powerful opponents with weaker pieces, you really have no where else to go.
Not the best way to design a "mini-game."
